SHOP GRAND REOPENING NOVEMBER 1, 2022

1 shy of 3

Dear Familia,

You have had quite the week. Mother, how many times have we told you to just leave stuff where it is? hahahahahahaha. You poor thing. I can't believe you broke your foot. I love you so much, but I can't lie, I laughed pretty hard at Dad's description of the event. It was pretty funny. But seriously Mom, stay off it for the 6 weeks. Read Jesus The Christ or something. Or Les Mis. Do something. hahah. How are you going to teach school?! It's a good thing we have that wheelchair.
This week has been pretty good. Church was cancelled last Sunday which made our whole week get thrown off a little bit. It was really weird and I would appreciate it if Missouri could realize that it is springtime now. But things are going well. We found a couple new investigators, a few who don't speak very much English so we're about to start learning a little espanol! I'm pretty excited, but I'm not sure how things are going to go with that... I really struggle with conjugations and things, so this could be REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLY interesting. hahah. But we have a few folks in our ward who speak spanish so we'll get right on that with the member presents and such. It's gonna be good!
Oh, Mom, for the General Conference package-- you don't have to send a camera. I got one. But interesting thing-- my card wasn't working. I haven't tried it again (because that was embarrassing) but just so you know. I will try it again though because I know there is money on that little guy! I've been taking lots of pictures though! I'll send them to you soon! Oh, could you please scan them or something and send them to my Grandparents? That would be good! yes? yes. Oh, and I got the Easter Package on Saturday! It was verrrry welcomed! So thanks!
Sorry this is really random. But my mind is going all over the place. We're going to Columbia today for Zone P-day! I'm pretty excited! We're going to play some games... and hopefully this time we won't have any trips to the ER.
We had our Easter Sunday yesterday and it was pretty great! There were lots of folks there-- it being Easter and all. But it was really neat to be able to meet some of the less active folks who don't normally come to church! I wish sometimes that I could just let them know (and have it stick) that church is SO important! And that if we don't go, we don't get to renew our covenants with the Lord! And just that when we make it a habit of going to Church every week, we really do get that spiritual boost that is so necessary and vital for living in today's world! hmm. if only people would understand that...
We had two Easter Dinners yesterday. It was awwwwwwwesome. My stomach is expanding... and my skirts are getting smaller... I think they are shrinking in the washer.... I don't think it has anything to do with the fact that I ate approximately (or exactly) 8 rolls and an entire plate in one sitting.... (after eating a whole plate at another family's house...) Believe it or not, I'm eating a TON out here.
Dearest Family, I pray for you every night and every day! I love you all so much! I hope that everything works out! Just know that our Heavenly Father has a plan for you! He knows what you're going through! And just know that He loves you so much! And He answers prayers. Read D&C 6:22-23, it always helps me to remember what I'm doing with my life.
Well, I'm 1 day shy of 3 months. Where did the time go? We're coming upon transfers next week! It's so crazy. We'll see what's going down this week! I'll let you know next week!  I love you all sooooooooooo much!  Keep writing! I miss your letters and faces!  Love, Sister Sadie Leavitt
