Dear Family,
I'm sorry this letter is late. We had Mission Conference yesterday so they changed our P-day this week to Tuesday. Well, technically it was "Half of the Mission Conference" because only half of us went yesterday and the other half went today. It was really good though. Elder Carlos Godoy from the Quorum of the Seventy came and spoke to us. He is such a hoot. Love that guy. And President Clark read a letter from Sister Furch and I. It was hilarious. It went a little something like this:
"One day, Elder Banks and Elder Facer (the assistants) were tracting. When out of no where, Elder Banks totally tripped over this lamp. After Elder Facer stopped laughing, he helped his companion up and picked up the lamp. He dusted it off and out popped a genie. The genie told them they had one wish. So they thought and thought and thought because they didn't want to mess up their one shot. Finally, they decided on a wish. They told the genie that they wanted to be the best missionaries in the mission. The genie smiled and said, 'Your wish is my command.' He then snapped his fingers and they turned into Sister Leavitt and Sister Furch."
It was super funny. The Assistants had no idea it was coming. I almost died laughing. Too good.
This last week was pretty great! We had a baptism on Sunday and it was fantastic. Possibly the least stressful baptism I've ever planned. There was a great turn out by the ward and they only had to dunk him once. I was really excited about that. (He has a bad hip, so we were all pretty nervous about it) But it all worked out and the Spirit was so strong there. I played the guitar and sang for the musical number. I'm getting lots better at sharing my talents. I could use a little more work, but don't tell President or the Assistants. Then they'll just exploit all of my musical talents. hahahah.
Sister Furch and I got matching watches. We're all about the companion unity. They're Superman watches. And they light up. Way legit.
CHUCKS!!!! CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR MISSION CALL!!!!!!!!!! YOU'RE GOING TO BE SUCH AN AWESOME MISSIONARY!!!!! :):):):) I'm super stoked for you!
Everything is a-okay here. I'm doing pretty swell. Oh, also, Happy Birthday to Jordi-con. Somebody eat an ice cream cake for me! (Sister Furch is lactose-intolerant, so there will be no ice cream cake for this sister missionary today. :( so someone eat it for me!)
I love you all, I hope you are swell. Oh, I'm glad to hear that Parley and Clancy aren't dead. I was going to ask about them if I didn't hear anything this week. I haven't heard from them in months. I don't want to hear any more flak from Parley about how "I never wrote him on his mission..." bogus. I miss my brothers. Tell them to write me an email or somesing. :)
I love you sooooooooooo much. 290384710239847128347019238471
