SHOP GRAND REOPENING NOVEMBER 1, 2022

almost one whole stinking year.

Hello my dears,

It was so wonderful seeing you on Christmas! Boy did I miss your bright shiney faces! You all looked lovely in your St. Louis shirts. :) Go Cards. hahah.
Christmas was so good. Like I told you, we went to a member's house for breakfast. Then we went to another member's house for a little "get together" (it was more like, we just needed to call our families and they were way cool and let us use their computers and iPads and such) and then we went to President Morgan's house because we had no where else to go. And because we just love President and Sister Morgan. :) However, President thinks that we all need to gain like 800 pounds out here. He just kept feeding us and feeding us and feeding us. I finally used Rachel's excuse, "I'm allergic." And then he kindly reminded me that we have interviews in two weeks. hahahahahahaha. Good times. But it was fun being in the mission home. Minus the fact that all the Elders wanted to do was watch dumb NBA. I get so tired of the same thing over and over again. Plus all those whiney NBA players... I just couldn't take it much longer. Thankfully it was only approved for one day! Plus, Sister Morgan made them all stop watching for 30 minutes so we could do a Christmas Program. And she had me play the piano. It was.... well, let's just say I didn't ever practice The First Noel or some of those harder Christmas songs.... I rocked the right hand though. hahaha. Oh well. It was good. The Spirit made up for the awful piano playing in some parts.
But it was a good day. And we have New Year's Eve this week. I can't wait for these holidays to be over. And I can't wait for the new month to start. We've been out of miles since the 26th.... So we've spent A LOT of time on the phone and stuff. Luckily we found a member to drive us to the library and store today. That would have stunk.
Anyway, I don't have much more to report. Except that with all of our phone calls that we have made I just want to say one thing to all of  you amazing members: PLEASE UPDATE YOUR PHONE NUMBERS IF THEY HAVE CHANGED! Be available to the missionaries. I promise with ALL of my heart that they aren't TRYING to be a burden to you. In fact, it probably took all of their courage to call you to ask for your help.
Also. UNCLE BURKE!!!! BAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I may have shed a tear or two. That is the BEST news I have heard in a REALLY long time. I am so happy for you! I know this gospel can and WILL bless your life! And I am SOOOOOOO proud of you! :)
Love you, Sister Sadie Leavitt
P.S. One year down. One to go. Grandma and Grandpa extended... Can I?? :) hahahaha. Just kidding. They're making it awfully difficult for us youngins to extend.
