good things to come.
So it's been a minute.
Being a missionary was the best thing I could have done these last 18 months. My mission truly changed my life. I lived in {six} different apartments. I had {12} different companions. I met SO MANY WONDERFUL PEOPLE! I learned to {live} the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I learned to {love} the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I had the opportunity to {teach} countless people that same Gospel that I came to know and love. I saw change.
The Gospel changes lives. It does. I know it does. It changed my life.
Sooooooo.... Now what?
I've pondered that question A LOT the last two weeks. What do I do all day? Who do I talk to? What should I do with my life? Where do I want to be in 5 years; in 2 years; in 2 months? How do I get there? In essence, now what?
My answer: Keep going.
[I don't have favorites when it comes to the Apostles of the Lord, but if I did-- Elder Holland would be one of them. Lucky for me, I can have 12 favorites.]
“Don’t give up, [kid]. Don’t you quit. You keep walking. You keep trying. There is help and happiness ahead—a lot of it—30 years of it now, and still counting. You keep your chin up. It will be all right in the end. Trust God and believe in good things to come.”
There is never a moment in our personal conversions where we have arrived-- where we can quit. We have to keep moving, keep walking, and keep trusting in God.
"Endure and save yourselves for better days ahead."
keep walking.
