January 11, 2013 Letter
I love you all so much. Today in Zone Teaching we were learning about the Doctrine of Christ and what it means to us and what it means for your families. And today I learned that although this life isn't easy and although we have struggles that is the way Heavenly Father designed His plan for us. Our trials are supposed to test our faith and our desire to live with our Heavenly Father and family for eternity. One Elder in my group pointed out as we were studying 2 Nephi 31:18 that it says the word strait, not straight. The word strait means difficult. This life is hard and the path that leads back to our Heavenly Father is very narrow, but we are promised that if we will stay on that narrow path, repent when we go off course, and follow and endure, we will receive eternal life and the blessings that follow.
Our Heavenly Father is so mindful of each one of us - He loves us so much and wants so badly for each of us to receive His message and gospel in our lives.
I love you all so much! And I love being a missionary at the MTC! It is such a blessing to be able to learn the gospel on a deeper level!
