katie jo + michael had their ceremony at the mount timpanogos temple. lds weddings are a little different because photography is not allowed during the actual ceremony or inside at all. the ceremony is very intimate and the bride and groom are surrounded by loved ones who hold a special recommend. the ceremony is fairly quick and the bride & groom commit to one another for eternity. it is pretty neat.
like i said a little earlier, katie jo + michael were married in the mount timpanogos temple. their wedding day was hot & sunny! there wasn't a cloud in sight!. which was wonderful because everyone is so, so happy on sunny days! we had plennnnty of time to take photos after they exited the temple.
shortly after their sealing, we went to their reception venue-- le jardin. it was a greenhouse and was just stunning!! One of my favorite small details was the peacock details that katie jo used to tie together everything!
katie jo had two bouquets, one floral bouquet and a broach bouquet that her DAD MADE. it was so fun! all of katie jo's details were so, so special & so thought out.
the cake was made by CAKE BAKER and was absolutely beautiful! they had one cake that they cut & then the rest of it was cupcakes for everyone to eat after they cut the cake! the cake cutting was so fun! they fed each other nicely & then had a small little war to see who could get more frosting on the other. i love when brides and grooms have fun with their cake cutting because you can really see their personalities come through as they tease one another.
i had the best time working with katie jo + michael! i wish them the absolute best & hope they have the happiest future together!
