SHOP GRAND REOPENING NOVEMBER 1, 2022

Mothers.

Dear Mothers,
You guys are awesome. Seriously, I don't know how you do what you do, every. single. day. I'm not going to lie, I sometimes wondered what Moms do every day.

Last night my little cousin got stung 4 times by a scorpion and ended up staying the night in the ICU down in Las Vegas. Of course, his mom and dad went with him. So I volunteered to watch the other three kids for the night.

I learned what moms do real fast.

The baby had a fever, so I worried and fussed over him all night. And watched Old Yeller 8 times. (that number isn't exaggerated either) And he woke up for the day at 4:15 in the morning. (We watched Old Yeller twice before the older kids woke up) Then the older kids woke up. They ate breakfast. Then they got showered and dressed and then Bens had a dentist appointment at 8:00. So we got that all taken care of and then got the kids off to school. A lot of other little things happened and it was a full day by 10:00. And I was tired.

I honestly don't know how moms do stuff like this every day. This experience made me really grateful for moms everywhere and for people who are willing to put themselves through that everyday. However, I also learned why moms do what they do.

When we got back from dropping the kids off at school and we got situated (diaper changed and everything), all Rex wanted to do was be held and snuggle. It was the best ever. So I held him as I sat on the couch and he just laid there with his head on my shoulder. so. awesome.

But anyway, Moms are the best. And Dads too. Parents are awesome. And I want to thank mine for being rad. And I want to thank all of my Aunts and Uncles and Grandparents and just anyone else out there that is a parent. Thanks for doing what you do. And for being willing to do it. And for being so loving to your kids.

Ya'll rock.
