I am so grateful for my Mom. She is such a wonderful example of what a great mother should be like. I love her so much.
As the last five months have gone by, it has been such a blessing to be able to call my Mom for recipes, laundry help, to talk about boys, and the list goes on. I miss my Mom a whole heap and I love her even more. I don't know where I would be without my Mom. She has been through everything with me. My Mom was there when I dropped out of pre-school. She was there when I started Kindergarten. She was there whenever I ran the pumpkin run. She was there when I lost my first tooth. She was there when I didn't know what to do in 5th grade when it seemed like everyone else's lives were falling apart. She was there when I was Sacajawea in the 5th grade play. She was there when I played in my first piano recital. She was there when I didn't make Freshman Class Office. She was there right after I broke my teeth. She was there for all of the dentist, endodontist, orthopedic surgeon, and orthodontist appointments. She was there when I made Senior Class Vice President. She was there when my volleyball team didn't make it to State my Senior year. She was there when my basketball team lost in the State Championships my Senior year. She was there when my 4x1 team got disqualified at State my Senior year. She was there when I played in my last piano recital. She was there when all of my friends left for college and missions and I was still stuck at home. She was there when I left for college, telling me to take off my coats once I got inside because I would sweat in them and then going outside would be much colder. She was there last Thursday when I called because I couldn't think of anything controversial to write about for my English paper. And I know that she will be there whenever I need her.
I love my Mom so much. I couldn't have asked for anyone better.
