put the show on anyway.
so today there was a huge power outage in Cedar City. and actually all over the state of Utah. (or so I was told) well, in theaters, electricity is like the second most important thing when putting on a show. (actors being first most important. I think) well. without power what do you do?
put the show on anyway.
of course, right? that's everyone's first instinct. I think theater people might be a little overzealous when they use the phrase, the show must go on, but apparently that's what you're supposed to do. so what did we do?
put the show on anyway.
yeah. with half of the theater completely dark. minimal lighting. the sound cues coming from offstage. patrons were lead to their seats with dinky flashlights from BigLots. tickets sold using only cash. yeah. that's what you do.
put the show on anyway.
because apparently, the show must go on.
