SHOP GRAND REOPENING NOVEMBER 1, 2022

semester two.

My second semester has officially begun... as of Tuesday. I have two new roommates: Mary and Christina. I am babysitting an adorable little girl named Audrey on Tuesdays and Thursdays (at the crack of dawn... it's almost unbearable). I am taking some of the most legit classes of all time. And I'm growing my hair out.
I decided at the end of last semester that I was going to take a picture of my hair straightened at the beginning of the semester and at the end of the semester to see how much it changes. And I also decided that I was going to wash my hair at night so that I wouldn't have to blow dry it. (You know, tryin' to keep it healthy and stuff... or at least that's what I read) just so you can see the progress my hair makes through the semester, here's a nice picture!

okay, so it isn't that great of a picture, but you try taking a picture of your hair.. it's more difficult than one would think. My hair basically ends where the picture ends... so I figure that's a successful picture...
my classes. Are bomb. That is basically the gist of that. I'm taking Preparation for Marriage (not the religion class) and the textbook is called, How to Avoid Falling in Love with a Jerk. winner? I think so. I am also taking Old Testament (first half) in a block course, which means the class ends on June 1st. So it is sped up and really intense; my teacher is a fantastic teacher (he quoted Star Wars yesterday) and I love going to class! I have one other block class this semester and that is English 101. It's pretty legit. My teacher is pretty humorous so I don't mind going to class everyday. My last class for this semester is Humanities and I feel as though that is going to be my toughest class, it is really interesting, but it is on Tuesdays and Thursdays (after I babysit Audrey) and I have already started struggling with staying awake, but my homeloaf- Kim is in that class, so I'm pretty stoked about that.
piano skills. oh, my Bishopric came over to our apartment yesterday. That was really exciting. I like those guys... but... it turns out, I'm still the ward pianist/ chorister. gosh darn it.  And one of my roommates asked me to be her accompanist, which kind of makes me a little bit nervous (or a lotta bit. I've heard it both ways) but apparently piano skills are the kind of skills that people actually need...  don't get me wrong, I love playing the piano, but I thought for sure that I would NEVER have to play seeing that I'm at a Church school. incorrect. I was completely incorrect.
