SHOP GRAND REOPENING NOVEMBER 1, 2022

wednesday letters: on wednesdays we wear boost

i've been waiting SO LONG to be able to use this subject line & today i'm finally going to use it! i am so, so excited because i got my second boostability shirt today for donating to money for books for an elementary school.

one of the things i love about boostability is that each quarter they do a "BoostCares" initiative. where employees come up with a cause and we're all given opportunities to donate and help out. i think it's really neat. like i said, the last one was donating books to an elementary school for students who had never owned a book of their own. *cue tears* reading was such an important part of my childhood. i loved sitting in our guest room closet with a headlamp and a good book and just reading for hours. i also read for hours upon hours each night to help me fall asleep. (my mom didn't love this activity as much because i always fell asleep with the light on... where was my headlamp?? hahah) but reading brought me so much joy, so to be able to donate to give kids a book of their very own made my heart swell.

this quarter's BoostCares initiative is another one that hits close to home & i am so, so excited to be a part of it. boostability is teaming up with Encircle which is a non-profit in utah that is focused on providing support to members of the LGBTQ+ community as well as those who are suicidal. whether or not it was LGBTQ+ related or not, we all know someone who has committed suicide. unfortunately, i've known a few people who have ended their lives too soon. i believe that no one should walk alone & that this is such a worthy cause. something really cool about this BoostCares initiative is that you can donate too (and get a boost shirt too, if you'd like!), all you have to do to donate is go here

on wednesdays i wear boost because i am so proud to be a part of this company! i love that even more than just providing me a place to work, it gives me opportunities to be a part of something bigger than myself.
